Open house is one of our favorite times of year. We have the opportunity to meet and greet new families while we show them our beautiful facility. During Open House, we register new students and welcome families into the Grace Lutheran Preschool family. Considering the pandemic, we will have our 2's visit on Tuesday, January 19th and our prospective 3's on Wednesday, January 20th, and prospective 4 year old families on Thursday, January 21st, all from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. This is the time to register for the 2020-2021 school year. Grace Lutheran Preschool is looking for a caring compassionate preschool teacher assistant who would work with 2, 3, or 4 year old children under the direct supervision of a lead teacher. Click the link above for more information.

We plan to start back to school beginning Monday, August 17. We will possibly alter the start date based on the status of the outbreak. We plan to have parent orientations the previous week on August 11, 12 and 13. You will receive a letter at the end of July to inform your family of your specific date and time.

Open Enrollment Begins Tuesday January 29th with our Open House. Please Joins us 6:00pm-8:00pm to learn more about our school, tour classrooms and meet the teachers. On Sunday, November 11, the preschool is invited to sing some patriotic songs at the 10:30 service.  We would love for you to join us on that Sunday as it will be Veteran's Day and we want to honor our Veteran's as well as praising God.  We are also going to collect Amazon gift cards for servicemen at a U.S.O. camp in Afghanistan.  Grace Lutheran has been supporting this camp called Forward Operating Base (FOB) Fenty for the last 6 years sending over 800 boxes of supplies for our troops.  FOB Fenty is in the north easter section of Afghanistan very close to the Pakistan border. FOB Fenty houses thousands of US soldiers and this year we are once again collecting goodies for the troops and we are in need of Amazon gift cards for Christmas.  So we are collecting Amazon gift cards in any denomination from $10.00 to $50.00.  The troops love these because they can order what they need from Amazon and Amazon ships to them.  The first 25 children will receive a free Thrivent t-shirt.

We are excited announce we are opening a NEW Three year old class. It will be offered on Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. The class is filling up so please call the preschool office for more information.

The last day for 2's is this Tuesday, May 15 and this Thursday May 17.

Last day for the 3's is Tuesday, May 22. Children start school at the regular time 9:00am. Parents are invited to come back for a "Party on the Playground" at 10:30am and then we will have our last chapel at 11:20am.

The 3's classes will not have class Thursday February 22nd, Father's Night is scheduled for 7:00pm that evening.

Snow Make Up Days: February 19th (Four's Classes) and May 8th (Three's Classes)

The children are invited to sing at the 10:30 service on Sunday, November 5. We would love for you to join us and to give your child the opportunity to lift our voices in praise.

The First Day for each class is as follows; 4’s-August 21, 3’s-August 22, Tuesday 2’s-August 22, Thursday 2’s-August 24. First Day Schedule: For most students, the first day is a shortened day to help ease the transition into the classroom. The information packet you received in the mail from your child’s teacher will indicate what time your child should come on the first day. Please offer a hug and a kiss at the door and tell your child goodbye. If you prefer to remain in the building, we will have the Fireside Room open for you to wait.

Family and Friends are invited to celebrate the class of 2017! Sunshine 4's/Mrs. Litkenhous' class and Jonah 4's/Mrs. Jones Class will graduate Tuesday May 23 at 7:00pm in the Chapel. Students must be in their classroom at 6:50pm. Noah 4's/Mrs. Weather's class and Butterfly 4's/Mrs. Warren's class will graduate Wednesday May 24 at 7:00pm in the Chapel. Students must be in their classroom at 6:50pm.
