Even with the ongoing concerns over Covid-19, Grace Lutheran Preschool is fortunate to remain open and to continue classes. Some families have been inquiring into starting back to preschool now or in January. Currently we have enough interest to open a new Thursday 2's class, meeting from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. Additionally, we have the option of starting a new 3's class meeting on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. We have limited openings in our 4's class.If you are interested in enrolling your child or grandchild in any of our classes, please contact the preschool office at (812)941-1912. Open house is one of our favorite times of year. We have the opportunity to meet and greet new families while we show them our beautiful facility. During Open House, we register new students and welcome families into the Grace Lutheran Preschool family. Considering the pandemic, we will have our 2's visit on Tuesday, January 19th and our prospective 3's on Wednesday, January 20th, and prospective 4 year old families on Thursday, January 21st, all from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. This is the time to register for the 2020-2021 school year. Our banks will be going home soon along with more information about Forget Me Not Ministries. This year proceeds will go to the children in Romania. These banks will be returned in February. We will conclude the program with chapel and the kids will have the opportunity to dump their banks in a big container and enjoy the obstacle course in the gym.

 A big Thank You goes to the Pre-School children who continue to collect mites at their Chapels. These mites help fund mission projects all over the world. The total amount of mites collected at Grace Lutheran Church from April 1, 2016 - March 31, 2018 was $4,678.91. These mites will help fund the 16 Mission Grants voted on at the LWML District Convention. Thank you to everyone who saved their pennies, nickels, dimes, and dollars and put them in the big Mite Box in the narthex.

Grace Lutheran Preschool's 18th Annual Winter Wonderland Dinner and Auction will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017. This fundraiser is attended by the parents in our community as well as Grace Lutheran Church. All funds raised at this event benefit the school and your child! Fish Fry Fundraisers are coming the first 3 Fridays in Lent, March 3, 10, 17. All 3 fish fry fundraisers are held to raise funds for school improvement. We are raising money for new technology and for new carpet for the school. Please join us for delicious fish, green beans, cole slaw, bean soup, corn bread, choice of baked potato, fried potato or french fries and a drink and a homemade dessert all for $9.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.( We will also serve hot dogs for any children that don't care for fish.)
