2 Year Old Class: 12/Class (2 classes offered) Ratio 6:1
3 Year Old Class: 16/Class (2 classes offered) Ratio 8:1
4 Year Old Class: 18/Class (4 classes offered) Ratio 9:1
What supplies are required for my student?
Your child will need a backpack. All other supplies are covered in the one time supply fee.
2's will need to provide diaper or training pants as needed.
What is purchased with my supply fee?
All items your child will need during the school year; snacks, art supplies, paper goods, etc.
What does the activity fee cover?
Special programs including; Silly Safaris, Motion Studio, Obstacle Course etc.
What is enrichment?
Pre-K 4's half day students are eligible to register for enrichment. Enrichment class is Monday,Wednesday, Friday from 12 noon - 3:00 p.m. It is an extension of our morning program. Students bring a sack lunch and a small blanket for a short rest time before joining together to discuss the concept of the day. Click here for more information.
What is playpals?
Pre-K 4 half day students are eligible to sign up for enrichment classes on a day of your choice without full time commitment. Cost for play pals is $15 per session due the first of each month. Click here for more information.
Do you celebrate my child's birthday?
We celebrate your child’s birthday in the classroom. The classroom calendar will list your child’s celebration date. You are welcome to send in a special snack to be shared on that day as we celebrate your child. Please no cake or juice boxes. Check with your child's teacher for snack options.
Do you have a dress code?
Please dress your child in comfortable clothing and safe shoes. We stay active both inside and outside of the classroom and want comfort and safety to be a top priority. Please no flip flops.
How do I make my tuition payments?
Annual tuition can be made in one full payment or nine monthly installments. Installments are due on the first of the month and will be assessed a late fee after the tenth of the month. A discount will be given for yearly tuition paid in full before September 1.

What is Mother's/Father's Night?
The children spend time preparing for a small program called Mother's Night and Father's Night. The children are proud to share what they have been learning. Please try your best to attend these nights. Due to limited space, we do ask that the child and only one guest attend. Save the date! Check the school calendar.
What is Chapel?
Chapel is held in the sanctuary where a pastor from Grace Lutheran Church hosts a mini worship for the preschoolers. This is an awesome witness of God’s love being demonstrated to your children. You are guaranteed good music, laughs, and heart warming moments. Please keep an
eye on your child’s classroom calendar for chapel dates.
Does my child need to be toilet trained?
In order to enroll in the 3’s or 4’s class, your child must be toilet trained. The 2’s need not be trained and are asked to supply diapers/pull ups.
What is the school closing policy if it snows?
Grace Lutheran Preschool follows New Albany Floyd County Schools closure schedule but not the delay schedule. If NAFCS has a delay, we will operate on a normal schedule. We will offer before care on delayed schedule days. Parents can find out about closures on the news or radio and also on the school website and social media.
Do you have a food allergy policy?
Grace Lutheran will accommodate your chold and make sure they are provided with a safe snack and environment. If your child carries an Epi Pen it will be kept in the classroom. Please discuss any allergies or concerns with your child's teacher.
