Grace Lutheran Preschool Schedules Open House Open house is one of our favorite times of year. We have the opportunity to meet and greet new families while we show them our beautiful facility. During Open House, we register new students and welcome families into the Grace Lutheran Preschool family. Considering the pandemic, we will have our 2's visit on Tuesday, January 19th and our prospective 3's on Wednesday, January 20th, and prospective 4 year old families on Thursday, January 21st, all from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. This is the time to register for the 2020-2021 school year. Even with the ongoing concerns over Covid-19, Grace Lutheran Preschool is fortunate to remain open and to continue classes. Some families have been inquiring into starting back to preschool now or in January. Currently we have enough interest to open a new Thursday 2's class, meeting from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. Additionally, we have the option of starting a new 3's class meeting on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. We have limited openings in our 4's class.If you are interested in enrolling your child or grandchild in any of our classes, please contact the preschool office at (812)941-1912. Grace Lutheran Preschool's Virtual Winter Wonderland Auction will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020. This fundraiser will look very different this year since what was normally an in-person event will now be virtually attended by the parents in our community as well as Grace Lutheran Church. If you would like to participate in the auction, log onto glcna.org/?p=8204 beginning Sunday, November 15, to view buy now items and to bid on live auction items. Once buy now options are gone, they will no longer be available. Bids will be updated at the end of each day so be sure to check your bids daily. The final live auction event will begin on Saturday, November 21, at 6:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. Winners will be notified by a telephone call on Sunday ,November22. glcna.org/?p=8204

Due to an uptick of Covid-19 cases in the state of Indiana, please adhere to the following: If anyone in your household is scheduled for a Covid-19 test or awaiting results of a recent Covid-19 test, Please stay home until you get a negative result. Your back to school letters are coming from your teacher at the end of the week. We are getting excited to see you back in school! As a reminder, due to the Floyd County Health Department mask mandate, all students 3 years old and up are required to wear a mask to school.
Grace Lutheran Preschool is looking for a caring compassionate preschool teacher assistant who would work with 2, 3, or 4 year old children under the direct supervision of a lead teacher. Click the link above for more information.
We plan to start back to school beginning Monday, August 17. We will possibly alter the start date based on the status of the outbreak. We plan to have parent orientations the previous week on August 11, 12 and 13. You will receive a letter at the end of July to inform your family of your specific date and time.
